We inspect exterior insulation and finish systems at the stages that matter — substrate, drainage plane, insulation board, mesh embedment, and finish — so defects get caught while they’re still cheap to fix.
Substrate
Sheathing is checked for fastening pattern, moisture content, and surface flatness before any material goes over it — the single hardest defect to fix once the wall is closed.
Four inspection stages, one continuous record.
Each stage produces a dated, photographed report tied to the wall section it covers — so the paper trail matches the wall, not the other way around.
Pre-installation substrate
Sheathing fastening, flashing details, rough openings, and moisture content confirmed before the water-resistive barrier goes on.
Drainage plane & attachment
WRB laps, flashing integration, and adhesive or mechanical attachment pattern verified against the manufacturer’s approved detail set.
In-progress QA — mesh & coat
Insulation board joints, mesh embedment, base coat mil thickness, and lap seams checked panel by panel as work proceeds.
Final survey & certification
Infrared and probe moisture survey of the completed wall, sealant joint review, punch list, and stamped closeout report.
Final Survey
A probe grid tells you what a walk-by can’t.
We run a moisture meter across a gridded pattern on every elevation and log each reading. Anything above threshold gets flagged, photographed, and cut open before we sign off — not after the tenant calls about a stain.
Booked to closeout, in four visits.
Timed around your framing and coating schedule — we don’t hold up the crew, we just show up before the layer disappears.
Site walk & scope
We review drawings, manufacturer specs, and site conditions with the GC before the first board is set.
Staged inspections
Substrate, drainage plane, and mesh/coat checks scheduled around your installer’s actual progress.
Moisture survey
Full-elevation probe grid and infrared scan once the finish coat has cured.
Report & certification
Photographed, stamped report delivered to ownership, GC, and the installer of record.
